We hear about security breaches on a daily basis. The unfortunate thing is that we just cannot stop them. We are all human and we tend to make mistakes. Like that one time when we were 16 and bought a cola that was over priced for its size, drinks like that come in three sizes, large, medium and small. We paid for it twice, once for the size that we wanted and once for the size that we actually received. When it comes to passwords, it’s easy to make mistakes and give away too much info to others, who end up using it against you by hacking into your email or social media account.
Fast forward a few months and we are looking to apply for a job online at the library and have forgotten the password that we set for our social media. We receive a warning from the site we are applying with and tell them that we are now part of the ‘password recovery’ club. They send an update, and you leave the library with your email account still logged in. Perhaps your password was still visible when someone else went to the computer you were using, or someone else used it to hack into your Facebook account and you don’t know how.
The problem was that we forgot that we were at the library that day and one or more people now have access to your personal accounts. So now they have our password and could reset it and in about 30 minutes our account was compromised.
This really happens all the time, this is why people need to create complex passwords and log out of public computers or they can easily get hacked. Complex passwords are almost impossible to guess and very difficult to hack. Now, we are not all hackers, we are not all out to get other people’s passwords and we will not set you up with complex passwords that you will never remember. However, if you are one of those people that have issues with remembering complex passwords and you do not feel comfortable about your password then, let us introduce you to someone who is.
There are a couple of ways to go about this. The first way can be a dangerous one. It is called black hat hacking and it is certainly illegal. However, if you choose this option then you will pay for the service. White hat hackers, on the other hand, are employed by a company to test their security and find flaws or weaknesses. The problem with this is that you are only testing the weaknesses that the company is aware of. Furthermore, white hat hackers are generally employed to test large companies which can afford to give them the type of budget that they would require. For instance, let’s say that your boss has decided that you will test the security on the site internally. You are an 8 out of 10 on the computer geek scale. You are awesome at pentesting small sites, however, you really don’t know a lot about the business of retrieving passwords and getting into emails. It would be a fruitless exercise for you to try. So here’s option two.
You can hire a hacker if your password is lost. We have one of the most advanced websites for info about hiring a hacker. Skilled hackers can find the weaknesses that led to your password getting hacked and on some occasions, get back into your social media account or email.
